M. Cousins is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus in in graphic design. He specializes in communication design and portrait photography that explores themes surrounding racial identity, gender roles and black representation in contemporary landscapes.
M. Cousins is a Denver based graphic designer and photographer currently freelancing and collaborating with other Denver creatives. He takes a fine art approach to design and focuses on heavy, visual imagery combining film photography and collage with contemporary design methods and trends. Some themes present in his work surround subjects such as racial identity and representation in the world of art, as well as exploring and redefining traditional gender roles through visual presentation.
